The “Golden Era” of men’s basketball at Lehigh ranged from 1925-1930. During those years the team earned its best ever single-season record of 13-1 in the 1928 season. Neil Isaacs, a historian on the history of men’s basketball in the United States, stated that “during the 1928-1930 seasons, Lehigh’s basketball teams were capable of beating almost any team in the country. For them seeing was believing.”
