Packard "Runabout" Automobile No. 1

Engineering students daily pass this glass displayed early Packard without a second glance. I certainly did so, assuming it was an entombed relic, all during my four years as an M.E. student. Ten years after graduation, I took this picture of T.E. Jackson, one of my M.E. professors, driving it at a Reunion. It was quite a surprise that it was kept functional and ever got out of its case.
