This brief essay is a description - a bit tongue and cheek- of the major buildings on campus and the students' experiences of and within them in 1883.
Initially, the Asa Packer Dining Room in Packer Hall was designed for use as a chapel. After Packer Memorial Church opened in 1887, the museum was moved up a floor to occupy the old chapel space.
