Through the research of David Stocker at the Bethlehem Area Public Library and the Moravian Archives, he was able to uncover photos from the 1950s of the Glaser and Kaplan junk yard. The junk yard was in operation from the mid-1950s through 1962, when preservationists and the Monocacy Creek Urban Renewal Area was cleaned up. The location is now part of the Colonial Industrial Quarter.
